History

Decorah Area Faith Coalition: (2001) was an interfaith group in the community that focused on such issues as: Free Clinic, Jail Ministry, Domestic Violence Prevention and Intervention, Housing Assistance, Mental Health First Aid, Social Service Triage, Food Pantry, and Assistance to Immigrants after the Postville Raid

When the Faith Coalition realized how long they would be involved with the immigrants from the Postville raid, they felt a need for an independent place & entity to carry on that work.
